I first had the idea for adding chocolate to my Granola when I developed a recipe for Key Lime Pie. Dark chocolate is, in fact, a good carb having a low glycaemic impact, and it's such a favourite treat for so many of us that it seemed a natural idea to make a Chocolate Crunch. Everyone always asks me how something so tasty can actually be good for you too!
