Granola Banana Bread

Print Recipe
Granola Banana Bread
Banana bread is one of our favourite comfort foods here at Lizi’s. To put our mark on a classic, we recommend trying a handful of granola in the recipe instead of adding the normal chopped nuts or chocolate chips to banana bread. It adds a lovely texture and is a great way of jazzing up an old favourite.

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 200c. Butter a 900g loaf tin.
  2. Mash the bananas with a fork.
  3. Using an electric beater, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Then beat in the eggs with a wooden spoon or electric beater. Add the banana and stir in the flour and granola.
  4. Pour the mixture into the tin and bake for about 50 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Check by using a skewer. Cool in the tin and transfer to a wire rack.
